CIS245: Windows Client and Server
This course provides students with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Microsoft Windows Client and Server. Topics include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting a stand-alone Distributed file system (Dfs); Configuring and Troubleshooting Hardware Devices and Drivers, Management and optimization of System State data and user data, and Configuring and Troubleshooting Windows Network Connections. Prerequisite: CIS150 Introduction to Networking
These courses provide up to 33 Semester Hours of college credit in the core, required technical and advanced technical areas of the three primary degree fields listed below.
The courses are also components in a number of other degree fields; see the current catalog or speak to a representative for more information. The additional remaining courses to complete specific degrees are:
