CIS202: Introduction to Routing and Switching
This course provides an introduction to networking using routers. Highlighted areas include: Details on routing models, processes, and routing protocols, provides a starting foundation of knowledge required to build and configure a multi-protocol network, and examines the various layers of functionality and introduces the startup sequences and configuration options for routers. Prerequisite: CIS151 Networking II
These courses provide up to 33 Semester Hours of college credit in the core, required technical and advanced technical areas of the three primary degree fields listed below.
