ECPI College of Technology
is pleased to be a participant of the Marine Corps
Career College Program (MCCCP), and currently supports
this program by offering Degree Programs in Computer
Network Technology, Wireless Communications, and
Accounting Systems Management
The Servicemembers Opportunity
College Marines (SOCMAR) has created generic Degree
Plan Roadmaps to assist individual Marines in formulating
their plans to earn a formal college degree based
upon areas of specialization in the Corps; the MOS.
These roadmaps assume the strong likelihood Marines
will be able to receive formal college credit for
previously completed formal military training and
service experience.
ECPI
has created specific Degree Roadmaps that are similar
to those generated by SOCMAR. The college’s
ROADMAPS are specific to the individual degree
opportunities, and clearly identify a path to earn
the desired degree. The Roadmaps also identify
different ways by which Marines can seek advanced
academic standing by being awarded credit for formal
USMC Training, and by transferring relevant credit
that is documented on the SMART.
Yes. Upon enrolling at ECPI service personnel
will be asked to provide their military as well
as other transcripts that will assist our academic
departments in terming how much transfer credit
will be awarded individual Marines who attend ECPI.
A resultant SOCMAR Agreement will be generated
identifying the specific courses remaining for
program completion.
