It's a rapidly growing field. Services such as using a mobile phone to control your home security system, or to view your favorite show or the latest news, or to download your favorite music or even attend classes through M-Learning are no longer something in the future.

Wireless engineering technicians install, maintain and repair wireless equipment. They also assist in the development, testing, production and quality assurance of electronic equipment and components such as: wireless phones, PDAs, Bluetooth devices, and WLANs.
